- You can use any SCSI-2 hard drive. The A3000 has SCSI-2 integrated,
- lacking only some features of SCSI-2/fast-scsi-2. You can also plug
- fast-scsi-devices on the a3000, only "wide scsi" is not possible,
- since the cables have the double width/more cable connections.

- You can plug up to 7 devices (hd, scanner, cd-rom) on the A3000, but
- be sure to switch on termination for the last device in row and
- select the right Id for each device - if two devices use the same ID,
- the machine will not boot.
